I have researched many paid survey websites and listed the results and links here. I belong to every site listed. As this site develops and grows I will constantly update the information for you. This is not a get rich quick scheme and I do not charge anything for my listings. If you want to make some extra money by filling out online surveys and participating in online focus groups then I will help you get started.
I have spent hours online searching for all the paid survey companies I could find and then weeding out the bad ones and the scams. There are some survey sites that enter you into drawings to win cash or prizes but I have not included them on this site. For now I am only interested in the sites that give you some kind of compensation for each survey taken. I have taken the sites I use and classified them into four catagories:
These are the sites that you will want to frequent the most. There will be plenty of website support for you to access your account and edit your personal profile. Most of these sites will have an area on their website to check for available surveys and/or offers. I have also included the quickest paying sites here.
Contacts
These are the sites that will have website support for your account balance but may or may not have an area to check for surveys. These sites do not need to be checked daily but are still need some periodic attention.
E-mailed Out Only
These sites e-mail you their survey and/or focus group invitations and have little or no website support other than contact information. These sites seldom need checking on after you have registered and completed your profile. These sites may only send you one or two surveys a month but generally pay the most.
Getting Started
To get started you will definately want to get a pay pal account. Most of the survey sites will pay you through pay pal because it is the quickest and easiest way to securely send and receive money online. All pay pal requires you to have for a free account is a checking or savings account.
Another tool I use is the Roboform form filling software. When you are applying at several different sites a day it can become quite a chore just to fill in your general information. This software will remember your details and with one click fill in the whole questionnaire. The other thing I like about Roboform is that it will remember your different log in information and passwords so you don't have to. This in it's self is invaluable to me because I have over a hundred sites to log into and I would never do it without Roboform. You will really want this I know from experience and you get a free 30 day trial period.
I was going to list some tips on success with survey sites but before I do I must make mention of a different kind of website where you can earn money online. It is not like taking a survey but you can log on and participate as much as you want whenever you want. I call them "paid to write sites" and I wanted to put them in my favorites section but they are really a different catagory. A couple of these websites pay you to write and rate product and movie reviews while the others have forums where you participate in discussions on any topic you can imagine. If the topic you want isn't already there then you can start a discussion. As I said these sites are a little different but they will quickly grow on you. The payment depends upon participation and I believe the faq section in the sites can tell you about this better than I can but I do recommend trying these sites out!
I normally don't have much to do with paid to click sites because so many of them are scams and then the others seem to take forever to get hardly anything out of but due to an overwhelming response for requests of pay per click sites I am now researching some of them. Since it does take a while to earn with PTC it may take a while to build a good list.
Since I have had so many requests for tools to help increase your web traffic without having to spend anything, I have added this section for those of you who have websites and need to boost your traffic for free. These traffic excahages really work and you will notice a huge immediate increase in your website visitors. This will get you the traffic, it is up to you to provide the content. I have found some really good traffic exchanges and have just updated these with some more sites.
